Never having done any group travel before, I didn't really have clear expectations—but whatever they were, the trip more than exceeded them. Perfect organization, lodging, scheduling—wonderful leadership, and a great group of participants. The program highlights, for me, were our travel director, the really fun group of folks, the property, and the cooking classes.

Even though we knew the itinerary and location, we were awed by everything experienced. Our travel director was delightful and clever and very friendly and attentive. She made the trip in every way.

Our travel director was fantastic. She was so accommodating about everything. We thought she was over the top. All of the local guides were well-spoken, informed and pleasant.

Our travel director was truly wonderful and we were so happy to have her on the trip. She was always very aware of our group and making sure everyone was included and that their needs were being met. As the week went on, she felt like another member of our group, participating in our conversations, answering our questions, and it was very enjoyable. She knows a lot about Sicily, but was also able to engage in really interesting conversations about Italian culture vs. American culture vs. other countries' cultures that were incredibly interesting.

I went on this trip with my family and 89-year-old grandmother and we all loved the itinerary (which is a challenge because it needed to appeal to people in their 20's through late 80's). We really enjoyed all of the tours, cooking classes, and vineyard visits.

We thought the program was an incredible value! We typically have traveled internationally very independently, doing our own research, renting a villa and renting a car. We never could have experienced the things we did on this tour if we had planned it ourselves—for financial reasons as well as logistics (e.g., being able to cover as much ground if we also had to do the driving). Given the range of activities and the number of professionals involved, we marvel at how you're able to offer such a trip so economically for the value!

We also loved the personal nature of the small group, which made it very enjoyable for everyone to get to know each other.
