We are pleased to have begun resuming select small-group tours as of July 2020. Prior to departure, our guests are provided with final travel documents illustrating extensive health and sanitation information regarding their tour. Additional updates are also provided electronically in an effort to arm our guests with the most up-to-date information before embarking on their journey.
We have published our COVID Wellness Protocols page, detailing protocols for upcoming tours. These overarching standards are in line with CDC and international tourism recommendations. Guests will also be provided specific details pertaining to sites and locations visited on their respective tour in order to be prepared for future travels.

We continue to work through the impacts that COVID-19 has had on the travel industry and hope that your family and loved ones are healthy and well. As we work through this evolving situation, we rely on updates from the CDC, WHO, and our many suppliers around the world in order to provide a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for our guests prior to and during travels.
Select domestic tours will resume in July 2020, with select international tours scheduled to resume in August 2020. Based on current CDC recommendations and international industry standards, our team has worked with our suppliers, Expedition Leaders and Travel Directors to develop enhanced health and hygiene protocols for the safety of our guests that will be implemented while on tour. These protocols, including enhanced sanitization processes and physical distancing on motor coaches and excursions, will be shared in detail with guests in advance of the final payment due dates and are included with final documents.
Our Expedition Leaders and Travel Directors have been trained in implementing these enhanced precautions aimed at helping our guests travel in comfort and with peace of mind. Our team will work to create a safe and enjoyable experience and should the unlikely happen, is prepared to respond and assist guests while on tour. In addition, our team on the ground is in contact with Orbridge headquarters 24/7 while guests are on tour.

At this time, we remain cautiously optimistic there will be no changes made to our tours scheduled to resume in late June and beyond. Our team is in communication with suppliers, team members, and our expedition leaders around the world, and in close partnership with them, has developed enhanced health and wellness protocols for upcoming tours.

Orbridge is continuing to monitor the global situation as areas around the world are taking unprecedented steps to help minimize the spread of COVID-19. Our thoughts are with everyone who has been impacted by the virus. We remain in constant contact with our partners around the world, and we are regularly monitoring updates from the U.S. State Department, CDC, and WHO.
Our Guest Services team is working diligently to communicate chronologically with all guests reserved on travel programs between now and December 2020. At this point, we expect to resume normal operations and operate scheduled tours beginning in very late May 2020. However, we understand this is a rapidly evolving situation and should changes be necessary to future tours, our team will be in touch directly with guests who may be impacted. Given the mandate by the Washington state Governor's office, all team members are currently working remotely. Team members have full access to all resources needed to conduct all regular business during normal business hours without any interruption. However, please note that our team is fielding a high volume of calls and emails so as such, there may be a slight delay in a response but we are committing to serving you as quickly as possible.

At Orbridge, the health and well-being of our guests is our top priority. Given the rapidly changing impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we are closely monitoring daily events and reports from the global health community, and we are keeping in close contact with our ground operators, vendors, and partners at each domestic and international destination. With them, we are reviewing daily information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), and the U.S. State Department.
Each supplier, including small ship cruise lines and hotels, has implemented enhanced precautionary measures while adhering to strict sanitary protocols that adhere to CDC recommended standards. We are hopeful that the aggressive international response and from the travel industry as a whole, will help to minimize the continued spread of this virus. While each situation is unique, as a general rule we evaluate each tour and destination carefully based on the recommendations of the U.S. State Department, CDC, WHO, and our partners on the ground.
