PASSPORTS AND VISAS

Travel, especially internationally, is an exciting experience—but one that does take some element of planning in order to ensure you are prepared. Please review the following information as it relates to passports and visas to ensure you are ready for your upcoming journey.

Non-US citizens may need to work directly with their embassy to obtain certain Visas.

Securing a Passport Quickly
The U.S. Department of State has a variety of resources available to individuals who are in need of securing a passport quickly or have lost their passport prior to travel. While Orbridge cannot control or expedite requests made to the U.S. Department of State, click here to learn about your options—including rush service and steps to follow in order to try and secure a passport quickly.

Urgent travel passport requests can be done for those who have travel to a foreign country in the next 14 calendar days. This is done by appointment only and only at certain locations. Review the U.S Department of State website for more information.

Destination Specific Requirements
Some destinations visited on Orbridge tours require guests to secure visas or electronic travel authorizations (ETAs) in advance of arrival on tour. Details about these requirements are included in the documents sent to guests. Please review your Program Documents, generally sent 5-6 months prior to the tour's scheduled departure date, to learn more about the unique needs for your destination. Transiting through the United Kingdom (UK)
Some travelers who transit through the UK—including but not limited to a connecting flight through London Heathrow—may need to secure an electronic travel authorization (ETA). Please contact your airline to learn more, and you can click here to learn more about the UK's ETA requirements.

Looking Ahead: New Requirements for the European Union (EU)
Countries in the European Union will require a travel authorization known as the ETIAS for entry into the EU beginning in late 2026. The EU will announce specific details much closer to the anticipated go-live date so at this point, there is no action needed from travelers entering into the EU until at least late 2026.

Changing Requirements
Travel requirements and documents are sanctioned by each country's travel authority and may change suddenly at any time. While Orbridge does our best to communicate entry requirements and changes, it is the guest's responsibility to ensure that they are in compliance with each country's document and entry requirements for their tour.
