For the duration of your tour, you will be accompanied by your Orbridge Expedition Leader as well as local guides. Be aware that some areas visited on tour may experience staffing constraints occurring in the tourism and hospitality sectors at this time. Your Expedition Leader will keep you apprised throughout your trip to help ensure an uninterrupted tour experience as best as possible. We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding in the event that you experience longer wait times at restaurants, hotels, and sites visited on tour.

It is highly recommended that you purchase travel insurance that covers COVID-19-related occurrences, understand the details of COVID-specific coverage, and be prepared to make arrangements to extend your stay for longer than planned.

Special COVID-19 Testing & Entry Requirements — For guests participating in the optional Rwanda Pre-Tour:

• A negative PCR test taken within 24 hours is required to enter Volcanoes National Park for the gorilla trek. Orbridge ground staff will assist guests with this required testing. The cost for this test is $65 USD.
• You are required to wear a face covering when you come within a certain distance of the gorillas.

Special COVID-19 Testing & Entry Requirements — For guests participating in the optional Zanzibar Post-Tour:

• Travelers flying from Mainland Tanzania to Zanzibar (Unguja and Pemba Islands) should complete a domestic traveler form found at https://afyamsafiri.moh.go.tz/#/ and select the tab for “Domestic Departures." (Should the site come up in Kiswahili, there is an option to change the language to English.)
