Though not required, we recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance as a means to recoup expenses if canceling or departing early from a trip becomes necessary. Given the remoteness of the Galapagos Islands, we strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance with medical coverage, including flight evacuation. Without coverage, it may be difficult and at great cost to guests to obtain emergency medical assistance while on the islands. Reference the travel insurance suggestion that accompanied the invoice confirmation you received after making your reservation.
