Day 3: Copenhagen
Begin your exploration of Copenhagen with guided morning sightseeing that includes the city’s main cultural and historic sights. Highlights include the iconic Little Mermaid, sitting in the harbor, and Christiansborg Palace—now home to the Danish Parliament and the Royal Family’s official reception rooms. The afternoon is free for you to enjoy the beautiful gardens and majestic palaces of this coastal city. An evening visit to the enchanting Tivoli Gardens caps off your visit to Denmark’s vibrant capital. (B)

Day 4: Copenhagen / Gothenburg, Sweden / Oslo, Norway
A short ferry ride across the Oresund strait carries you to the west coast of Sweden where you travel north to the city of Gothenburg. Built around the mouth of the Göta Älv river, the city boasts a magnificent archipelago seascape setting and expansive areas of green space. Gothenburg has been recognized in the international press as one of Northern Europe’s exciting culinary destinations, and lunch on your own provides the opportunity to sample the city’s creative eateries. Later in the day, a scenic drive along the Skaggerak coast takes you across the border to Oslo. (B,D)

Day 5: Oslo
Explore the Norwegian capital and cultural hub during a guided city tour that includes City Hall, Parliament, the Royal Palace, and the National Theater. Visit the amazing fountains, bridges, and statues in Frogner Park, which showcases a lifetime of work by Norway’s greatest sculptor, Gustav Vigeland. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure, strolling the pedestrian-friendly boulevards, visiting the Viking Museum, or taking in a performance at the strikingly modern Opera House (optional). (B)

Day 6: Oslo / Stockholm, Sweden
Depart Oslo and journey through the Swedish countryside as you make your way to Stockholm. Built on 14 islands and connected by canals and bridges, water surrounds you at every turn in this stunning capital city where you will find a mix of old-world landmarks and cutting edge design. (B)

Day 7: Stockholm
Discover the highlights of Sweden’s stylish capital with guided morning sightseeing that takes you to Gamla Stan, Stockholm’s medieval city center, and includes the grand Royal Palace nearby Riddarholmen Church, and the stately Stadshuset (City Hall), where a climb up the Tower provides an unsurpassed view of Stockholm. An afternoon at leisure provides the opportunity to further explore the many delights of the city. (B)

Day 8: Stockholm / Helsinki
The day is yours to spend as you wish. Hop on a boat to explore one or more of the thousands of islands that make up the Stockholm Archipelago. Delve into the cultural offerings of the city, or enjoy a picnic in the green oasis of Djurgården, a lushly wooded park that has been royal land since the fifteenth century. This evening, embark on an overnight sailing to Finland. (B,D)

Day 9: Helsinki
This morning, begin your discovery of Finland’s capital with a city tour. Highlights include the Presidential Palace, Senate Square, the imposing Helsinki Cathedral, City Hall and Parliament, the Olympic Stadium, and Sibelius Park. In the afternoon, explore the bustling stalls and cafes in Helsinki’s colorful Kauppatori (Market Square), located along the waterfront. (B,D)

Day 10: Helsinki

Day 11: Helsinki / St. Petersburg
Follow the coastline across the border on your way to opulent St. Petersburg, Russia’s cultural capital. (B)

Day 12: St. Petersburg
Get acquainted with the picturesque city during guided sightseeing that features St. Isaac’s Cathedral and the Winter Palace, official residence of the Russian monarchs and home of the renowned collections of the State Hermitage Museum. Magnificent palaces, gardens, statues, and arched bridges bring back the time of the czars in this historical, architectural, and cultural center. (B)

Day 13: St. Petersburg
Delve into the lavish lifestyle of the czars with a visit to Catherine Palace in Pushkin. Back in St. Petersburg, spend an afternoon at leisure before capping off your Orbridge Scandinavian journey with a farewell dinner. (B,D)

Day 14: Depart St. Petersburg
Your journey concludes after breakfast with a transfer to St. Petersburg’s international airport. (B)
